I might as well ask. Most of the time I'm listening to something. Currently, though, all I hear is silence because I'm actually not listening to anything. Yet. Currently. Unless you count the music in my head, which is, "It's a Wonderful Night" from DDR. So for the sake of this thread, I'm gonna pull up iTunes and randomly click on a file.

Whoah. Ecco, "Open Ocean," from the original Genesis game, rotfl.

Ah, the wonderful heavy snow warnings, the fresh pine, the hope that my car doors won't freeze....ah. The scent of holly berries and cinnamon and fresh pumpkin pie. And the Christmas music.

Now, I know it's not even December, but I have had the decency to wait to think about it until after Thanksgiving. Now it'll be mad dash for getting presents one week before Christmas because like most of the time, I don't always get into the spirit of Christmas until the day before possibly. A week if you're lucky.

I love how the town is dressed with iron snowflakes. I do enjoy the giving and all the baking...it really is fun. So perhaps this year, instead of ignoring everything or being too lazy to do much more than set up a tree, send out cards and do some random baking, I ought to do more this year. More giving. More helping of the needy...which we should do all year round anyway...

But it is time to be jolly, as they say. It is only a few more days until the pale shaded days of November fade and December rushes in. You all know how that goes. Crazy people, crazy shopping, and most of all, crazy drivers! And...more...crazy driving in Lost Wages. Which means I will never go down Las Vegas Blvd unless I have to. SIDE STREETS ARE FUN!

Okay, anyway. What do you plan on doing for Christmas this year? I believe I'll be snug at home, hopefully sipping some hot cocoa. I am also planning on a service project for the hospital, once I find mah tablet, it will be a lot easier to do. And hopefully, I'll be wearing cozy slippers, since this floor happens to be laminate. Echo-y laminate.

I plan to workout until I go nuts, lol, then totally be ready to pig out on Christmas day. tongue Since that's what's fun about Christmas regarding food...potatoes and Jell-o. Fruit Jell-o that wiggles and smells so good and...I'm thirsty. Thirst satisfied. Then there's the green beans and getting that stuff outta the turkey. I love fresh stuffing. That is the only time I like it. The rest of the time, especially after it's cold, I just think it tastes funky. Perhaps it's the whole soggy bread thing.

Anyone have to work on Christmas? I surely hope not!

At any rate...let the...feasting, insanity, and whatnot begin!

You have A Little Snow Fairy Sugar!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Wha. ha. ha.

#8 Re: General Stuff » Wow! What happened, Nobuo? » 2006-11-06 16:19:32

You're right on that. I have heard extremely better scores on the...I guess we'll call them "remix" versions. So...I'm assuming there's an OST for just the games...which I believe I actually HAVE, only it's somewhere in Cedar at a friend's house...and then one for the PC?

#9 Re: General Stuff » Isn't this exciting/ » 2006-11-06 16:17:11

Thanks for the link. I remember looking that up when I first found out I had it. Too bad I can't even pronoune what I have....

But you're right. Typing in random acronyms would be kinda fun. I'll have to try it someday, just to see what happens.

w00t! Well, it's be a great b-day. And a long day. But a good day.

And...ew...ew...ew! This insulin tastes...gross. Ew.

But I ate cheesecake today! And that makes life special. And wonderful. And oh so gooooooood.

#11 Re: General Stuff » Isn't this exciting/ » 2006-11-06 00:01:30

Thank you. *Bows*

Father has perserved me greatly in this. My platelets are back up, thankfully. I have what's called TTP. Tomorrow they are gonna see how I do without the plasma and I pray that I will not go so downhill so fast yet again. I actually had a fever that reached one hundred and seven at one point. I was delirious for a couple days a couple weeks ago. I've been in the hospital for a couple weeks now and well still yet be here for longer. I got another blessing today, and in it Father said that I wouldn't be here any longer than I am supposed to. So you could say that's good and bad!

My plasma IS looking clearer. They'll still be giving me plasma...they have given me six transfusions of blood as well. I am really holding my breath...but despite all these things and how many times I get shot with needles and all the steroids I'm getting.@_@...

Father has said in the blessings I've gotten this will take much patience and long suffering. Even after I get out of this hospital, they will be monitoring me very closely, but at least I will be able to go back to serving my mission! I am still weak and all...and now I have to get two shots of insulin, hooray, while I am typing this post. The steroids are giving me an extremely high sugar rate, which is one of the effects of steroids. Wheeeeeee. I've never been so poked in my life. Just today I've had...now......I believe....seven or eight insulin shots, six or seven pokes for the blood sugar, plus the blood draw and the plasma today. My arms look like blueberry muffins. Yech. But life...will go on. Yes! It will!

Thank you for your prayers. Have a great day!

This has been an exciting week. I am curretly in the Salt Lake City LDS Hospital because I have....a life threatening blood disease, and today I don't get any plasma! I had a fever of one hundred and seven. Don't ask me how 'I have survived, save for lots of prayers...LOTS of prayers. ^.^ But thankfully, I am recovering quickly, and should be out by the end of the week. ^_^ My arms look like blueberry muffins. <.<

It snowed! Now it's raining again but...hey, it's all good. It's proving to be the kind of winter it's going to be--fast, cold, and wet. tongue Lots and lots of rain....rain that keeps on following me...O_o But at any rate, though I didn't get to play in it, that's okay. It snoooooooowed!

#19 Re: General Stuff » Sprites 'R Us. » 2006-10-10 15:54:07

Oddly enough, this actually makes me want to play Pokemon. O_o

I think I'll have to agree those are pretty down-troddening. Their eyes look like bug eyes for the most part. Some of them aren't too bad....but then again...*Looks through more* ....it seems that they are worse than I thought. Some are good, some are bad. Overrall, yikes.

The baggage is at the platform but there ain't no passenger.

Jeremy....

you can make it look better.

Why? Because you're smart.

Why? Because if you want it bad enough, you'll get it.

And quit worryin' about neglectin' your site an' take a chill pill. tongue

#24 Re: General Stuff » The Goonies » 2006-10-03 18:12:10

Movies at school...like...the Raisin in the Sun....

THEY HAD A POINT, RIGHT!?

Maybe.

Like "To Kill a Mockingbird." That had a point, too.

I guess I'll have to watch The Goonies sometim and actually re-think the situation.
