The Goonies

Haven't been able to watch half of the movies I have right now, but I do have a question for the crowd (ha ha ha) anybody watched the goonies (steven spielberg) before?  If you have what did you think of it?

Re: The Goonies

I remember watching it as a kid...and being glad I didn't have braces anymore. I didn't like the cussing..but I don't really remember all that much, so I should really watch it again to give you a full opinion, lol!

Re: The Goonies

Cussing huh?  I think somebody else mentioned that too.  Although I think I would have thought the same about Addams Family as a kid, I only find it funny now because I'm older and understand a little more of the dark humor than I used to.  No swearing in Addams, but it sure had a lot of tomato juice.

Re: The Goonies

We used to watch the Addams Family as kinds...black and white. Never the movies, though. My dad used to call me It, haha.

But yeah. You see, we started watching that as kids...and the first word...is a cuss word, and my mom turned it off. So from there, I kinda only caught parts of it, so I hadn't really been all that interested until I saw most of it one day in Junior High.

Same here, except only because most were boring.  The one teacher that showed movies with any degree of bad content (never R movies, though) always covered the TV during those parts when it was something visual.  Couldn't do anything about the swearing, though he always had a funny replacement afterwards.  ...Oh, I forgot to mention that I usually went to sleep when he showed movies.  Ha ha.

When asked about his opinion of the PS3's competing systems, 360 and Wii, Sony's SCE president, Ken Kutaragi, says:  "We don't care."

Re: The Goonies

Movies at school...like...the Raisin in the Sun....

THEY HAD A POINT, RIGHT!?

Maybe.

Like "To Kill a Mockingbird." That had a point, too.

I guess I'll have to watch The Goonies sometim and actually re-think the situation.
