I think it was April (my sister) that first introduced me to this artist, though I can?t remember if she did it on purpose or not. Besides the fact that the background she had obtained, somebody had stripped out the actual artist?s name and put in their own name, which completely threw me off the track of finding him. I didn?t actually find him until recently when I was browsing through somebody?s image gallery for wallpaper and lo and behold, there were a couple of his pictures with his name on it. I immediately googled around for him and found several hundred more. There are many areas of his art that I have not explored, only because he is so well rounded. His main appeal does appear to be the heavens, whether the stars or space, but there are more like this one that I have included. His bio on wikipedia is rather short:
Kagaya Yutaka is a Japanese digital artist born in 1968 who is known for painting elaborately detailed and spectacularly colored images. His images often include elements with a luminous quality. Some of his favorite subjects are astronomy and visions of utopian worlds.
