All right, I am going to try and recall everything that I did today.  Just so that I can use it later...

Last first, I was playing with mt-daapd to try and get it to recognize m3u playlists on my slug.  It recognizes one playlist that I created, and then ignores two others.  It also picks up the Halo OST one that was created by a third party.  I have tried to wipe the database several times, to no avail.  I have noticed that if I change the names of files and/or directories and then try to rescan the database, it displays corrupt file location markers in itunes, even with a complete eject and reload of the server.  I have visited the website http://fireflymediaserver.org/ formerly mt-daapd.sourceforge.something or other.  The forum appears to encourage me to use the nightly build of firefly, I do not know how to do this, although that information might be useful in my quest for conquering ushare.

I wrestled with Ushare heavily today.  It would appear that although the website clearly states, Support for XboX 360, I have no clear method of getting it to work.  I am not sure if the route that I need to add was there before I added it, perhaps I should reboot the server and make sure that the start script already has it in there.  Other sites have mentioned a :1 to the end of the server name.  To no avail.  I tried to find some sort of client for UPnP devices that works with OSX, and then got distracted by adding more memory to my Mac Mini (yoinked from Jeff's "NEW" computer, worry not, he still has a gig and a half because I gave him my 512 that was in the Mac Mini to start with) and reconfiguring my computer (downloading Mainline Torrent Client for OSX and using it to download my Tiny Toons Torrent which is about 70 percent done).  As far as I can see, there is ABSOLUTELY NO USEFUL INFORMATION ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET ABOUT USHARE.  This is rather strange and unfortunate as the alternative to ushare would be more difficult and costly.  Money is for Projector, end of story, anything else that costs money must be negated.

I sent Mike a postcard finally, shame on me for taking so long.

I have cleaning checks tomorrow, my bathroom better not 'barely passed' again.  50 bucks is riding on the line.  This of course adds to my sorrow, my room is a mess.  Fortunately, Kameo almost makes up for that, need to thank Mike (the unrelated) for lending it to me.

As I sit here and type this at three thirty in the morning, I can't help but wonder why I haven't done this before.  Shame on me for being a dummy head.

Oh, I need to get April's Angelic Layer DVD in the mail, I looked down and there it is on the floor.  The mac vs. pc ads are hilarious.  Most definitely worth waiting for the download (pesky 16K down).
