Alaskan spill

British oil company BP could face a criminal investigation in the US over a massive oil spill in Alaska in March.

You always hear about drilling here, there, the price of gas, whatever. I was just browsing BBC and I was wondering besides all the gripes of oil spills and oil drilling...how do you feel about oil spills in general? Not just on land, but at sea? All that pollution--and a lot of things killing our natural environment. Every time I swim in the ocean, besides getting full of sand, I often step on a lot of gunk. One time I even pulled on a monster truck. [It really hurt my foot! O_o]

There are some very beautiful underwater places in the world. But so many times, we take and not give...though we do have Arbor (is that what it's called?) Day to help plant trees and whatnot--to protect our wildlife. Concrete can be so bland and can hurt your feet, too.

What do you do to help keep the environment clean? What do you think we (as a whole Earth) can do for the environment? Do you feel we could drill in more productive places? Or do you feel that we should learn to find something better than petroleum/gasoline to run on? Do you think there's more stuff we can do to help keep the seas clean, too?
