I don't know if this has already been talked about because i haven't been paying attention but i think that the new playstation looks really awsome. You should check it for yourselves.

I prefer the Revolution (now the Wii) myself.

Hey, excuse me, but Dance Dance Revolution gives me exercize and is hilarious when you play it with friends and can't hit the back button with your feet to save your poor life.

I think i'm kinda done with video games, they don't benifit mankind in any way shape form or kind, cept for the seller's pocketbook...
Actually, video games can have the same effect as any form of media, and even moreso... though this accounts for all of the negatives that go along with it also. While games can attach a nice story that can have some nice moral themes, the game industry is loaded with companies who don't exactly hold such standards in high regard, just like every form of media is.
Granted, from a technical perspective, games have the massive amount of time possible to spend on them that can be seen as an issue. Other than that, content ranges from game to game.
