I've noticed an increasing trend towards valuing money as the supreme object in this world. I have a small personal struggling with this problem to some degree, but I have also seen some extremely aggravated attacks on the idealistic world order. To be brief and not sidetrack from money, the idealistic world order is one of reasonably ethical and moral values where honor and integrity are the most valued, before you attack that, lets move on as that is for another time
Anyway, this increasing trend away from the ideal and the gravitating towards avarice makes me truly wonder as money in any form is merely a thing. Even as a bit in a bank account, its true value does not lead me initially to why it is worshipped to such a degree. From the title, you can't take it with you, I also like the blasting parody to an old rebuttal to all this that I type, 'He who dies with the most toys, STILL DIES!' What about this is so hard to get? Am I alone in thinking this?

You make some really fine points, but one thing that I think you might have forgotten is that you can't build a house without the foundation being sound. You need to reform your opinion starting with the beginning about the ideal society. The ideal is unreal and unattainable, human beings as a general rule are not perfect, no exception, except one, sorry
and you can't base an opinion about the human race in general or even just the money hungry ones without realizing that what you are working with is less than perfect. To be perfectly honest, I can't touch your opinion about people until you reform the opinion about them.

Wow, like the topic Carmen, definitely look forward to your future posts. Although I too agree with Catherine that you can't overlook such a huge foundation issue, so maybe we ought to talk about your ideal society. Do you really think that it is attainable? If you do, will everybody make it, or is to be practiced by the few that strive towards it? I know that the world would instantly be a safer place to live if every person on it held their honor and integrity at the same level as everyone else. If it wasn't at the same level, I would think that people would still try to take completely different views on exactly the same issues. Suicide bombers anyone? They think they are going to heaven for doing what they are doing, and judging from things learned in psychology, I am pretty sure they think that they know that they are doing the right thing, even though they aren't. My two cents, or something ![]()

Yes you can't take money with and yes some people worship it, but isn't that because a lot of people that are famous say that money can buy everything and so people think that money is great and can buy anything and everything (like the whole world) hee hee anyways, money can't come with you and it can't buy happiness and it can't buy the truth or the gospel. But it can be used in good ways so maybe you should be different and use your money your way like maybe if you have sisters or brothers buy them something for no reason or maybe give some money away to the poor and such like that. Then i think money will be able to bring happiness. Maybe your not getting what i'm writing but hey why not try. Anyways enough about what money can bring and what not. lets find a new idea and talk about it. I always have a problem with money. hee hee like for college and stuff. But i like everyones point on money and what it can do and what people can do with it
Mostly everyone in the church is leaving Missery to join those Utards. Dang it.

Money may be important to a lot of people, but most of the time it's just useless to ever think you can change a person overwhelmed in greed. I know that it is a sad fact  ,but when someone is attached to money and thier greed, they don't know when to stop. They sometimes just keep wanting more. I sometimes think that greed is what turns people evil . But I sometimes figure that I'm wrong, because I just feel like they can change for the better
. I hope that greed can one day vanish from this world, so everyone can be hhappy with what they have. ![]()
Greed is always what turns people evil. Our nation was formed on this fact. We have 3 bodies of governments, the theory was coruption checking coruption, so the others wouldn't never allow another body to take away power from them. On the money issue, money is just like power, it you have it, you can ultimately control people. Money will buy you alot more than happiness
.
An idealistic world where morals and values are held higher than money, will never happen. Altho i would love to see that happen, our economy needs some way to trade and we can't just go back to the stone age. An economy like this sounds alot like communism. Communism has its advantages tho as long as it is executed correctly...
