Needles!

Okay, so I always spazzed out when I was a kid. Then one time I was in the hospital and they gave me more than six shots when I was awake. So then I was okay. But then I got my blood drawn. And I get sick when that happens...even in small amounts. So I'm back to freaking out about the needle, though I have no problem watching them put it in or something. It doesn't hurt much. I'm just..paranoid. Does anyone else dislike needles or am I just a jumpy, crazy whimp? I just...well....the last time they put needles in me before the last time, it took them forty minutes and by that time I was almost in tears. I cannot..handle...the mental stress...of the thought...of having a needle in me. Unless the needle is already in me, at which point I don't care....

ohhhhhhh, yes, i think i have like, the fear of needles. they scare me 2 death.

Don't mention them too much around me. I will deal with them....but I don't like them.

Heh, Might it be because of the FIFTY TETANUS SHOTS experience?

I can't top that, I only had ONE T. Shot when I stepped on a nail when they wrecked the old building of park school.

It is exagerated. But to me, I have had a whole lot.

Most of the shots were when they were deadening the flesh around a wound so they could sew it. Which was 11-12 times in a small concentrated area. But since the hospital did it wrong, I had to have 11-12 more shots to deaden the area again, so my doctor could pull out the stitches and DO THE WHOLE THING OVER AGAIN. Yuck....-_- sigh. That is most of my shot experiences....I won't talk about the many others....which truthfully they would all eventually equal 50 in total. Just not Tetenus shots though.

(pauses for a second....) How did we GET on this subject. *shivers.

*Twitch* Margh, well, I've had them shoot acid stuff in me. >.> Which reminds me that I need to have more moles removed on my arms....gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Shots ARE the subject of this thread!

Speaking of which, most shots I can handle. There's only two that I hate. One of those is the Novacane (sp?) or Livacane (sp?) shots when I go into the dentist. Luckly, last time they just gassed me, though that stuff is pretty annoying too... just in a different way. The other shot I hate is probably Tetenus shots, assuming that's the one that makes your arm go numb.

Whereever I go, I don't make it a habit to ask what they are putting in me. Just the fact that they are stabbin me is enouph. -__-
