Advent Children DVD

Well, I got it yesterday. Weirdly enough it seems to be saddled with some sort of protection. Or it could be my computer has a newer thing to block such things. I don't know. Anyway, my program that I normally use, VLC, choked and died after spewing random bits and pieces everywhere (said CRASHED HORRIBLY several times). I did manage to view it as my computer will allow my to change the officlal DVD player's region a total of four times (now three). The quality is priceless, the rip just doesn't do it justice whatsoever. As for the extras, I found them to be a little random at best, all they had was a kind of timeline for all the final fantasy 7 things. It went through the two crisis games, hit on vincen'ts game and also included the trailer for advent and many scenes from the original game (japanese version of course) Well worth the fifty bucks, but after having problems with the region coding, I might be tempted to offload it onto certain siblings (BTW, you are getting the PS2 back, don't ask, you already know why I'm selectively purging, its not an all out blood fest this time)

While this means that I'm not going to play Final Fantasy 7 ever again (serious this time) this is an incredible boon for Zelda, as I will still play all of those and keep their respective systems (once again THIS TIME) While I am confused at the direction I must take to truly turn from my anxiety and offcolor habits, I think I am being led in the right direction. Now to get back to that Wizardry series! Diane Duane is awesome!

Oh boy sounds like fun.....

Btw, I looked into that artist that does the covers for the diane duane wizardry series. They were cool except for the second one. I found that one to be quite....um....how do you put it... OFFENSIVE. So anyway.

Actually they tone it down quite alot. They use the #@%@#$% stuff occaisonly....and truthfully once you get passed the first part with barrett on the train...and the whole midgar thing, there really isn't that much more excesive cussing.

Yes, your right. I know I don't do any of it myself so why fill it into your life.

...but compared to a lot of things it, especially games out today, it is FAR FAAAAR more cleaner than they are.

Either way, I don't plan to play it again. *Shrugs shoulders.

Well, depends on the game. Some are worse, some are fffffaaaaaaarrr better. It really depends on what games you get. I'm sure Jeremy and Justin could both go after that, heh.

You'd be surprised at the content difference between Final Fantasy 6 and Final Fantasy 7. It's like night and day. There was definately a lot of stuff that wasn't included in most games until the 3D age and the post-Doom/post-Mortal Kombat eras. Ugh! Worst shift ever. -_-

What really grates my nerves is some of the types of games that get some bad content. A platformer with bad content (speaking specifically of the Jak and Rachet series, which both started to degrade a lot after the first game of each series) is just attrocious.
