Re: To Talduras and Seraphim

Well... um, I don't quite know what the thing is about (even after reading).

Much as I wish I could band together with people, I feel inadequet (sp?) about asking.  I am a major pain to deal with when I request something, even drawing.  Just ask Jami.

Worse yet, you may get caught in what I call my "Vortex of Anticipation."  Put simply, I've got a prologue for a story I plan to write (think novel length, like a series), I've taken forever writing it (mostly my fault), and I've somehow drawn the attention of many different people, which may not be such a good thing for them.  Mom wants to see more, Jami wants to see more, and Jeremy... hmm... I don't think he's even read any part of it, but he apparently wants me to write more, somehow.  I've got a general layout of lots of things (except what the plot after the prologue should be, even though I have the characters figured out).  But, I have a very slow work ethic, and it doesn't help matters that I'm a perfectionist.  Actually... my slow work ethic may be BECAUSE of my perfectionism.

So... um... yes, that was random, and I don't know what I was really trying to say with all that.  Heh heh... tongue

...How'd you get sucked into the vortex?  I know I posted a short story, but that was an experiment.  Even I didn't like that one.  I like my prologue, though (granted, have a bit of work left to do on it).

yes, I am familiar  with what you call the Vortex.  I tried to draw a picture for a writer....and I never could get it right.....though that was 4-5 years ago.  I could so much easily focus down on what peole want.   The problem, though, is that sometimes even THEY are not sure about what it looks like.  When I write stories, I usually have complete visuals....some things are vague, but for the most part, I know exactly what is going on andhow it looks....of coarse that is just because I am an artist.  Everything I do and imagine is visualized.
thanks

I am sorry that your dog died....we have 4 cats and 1 dog and it would be very sad if any of them died....

BTW, what was the name of your dog?  If you tell me, would you mind if I used he/she in my story.  I promise that it will be special!!  I have one of my cats also in this particular role...who is very old.
thanks

Yes.  I've had that problem too.  I know much of the generalities, but I do better with function rather than detail, at times.  What's ironic is the stuff I know the most about is the stuff that's most problematic for others to draw.  :-/

Possibly.  If all else fails, just consider me in, though I'm not sure how much I'll be writing in the future.  Stupid lack of time.  -_-

But it is all up to you.
