I bought it! ^_^
But only because I've never owned any of the movies (and because I loved Return of the Jedi). Sadly, I watched the entire trilogy in reverse order. Watched Return of the Jedi (recorded from TV. Still in this house... somewhere...), watched Empire Strikes Back (my brother borrowed it from a friend, and I watched it when they left it here for a few days
), and then, finally, the original Star Wars (rental. I couldn't just leave a gap there!).
If you think that's bad, just look at how I read Terry Brooks Herritage of Shannara series. A four book series. Went in the order #4, #1, #3, and #2. It's amazing I can keep the stories straight. Ha ha. 8)
When asked about his opinion of the PS3's competing systems, 360 and Wii, Sony's SCE president, Ken Kutaragi, says: "We don't care."
Translation: "We're going to get 0wned this gen."

Too bad that I have no money, scrimping along as it is, anybody want to summarize what they put on there that was new? I am sure they included the new footage, and I am sure I could find out myself, but I know that there are some people out there that own it, so I think they can describe it a little better than marketing droids. I really am interested, just haven't been able to post ![]()

Been too long since i have seen the originals on tape. I couldn't tell ya what was new. Maybe Deadbolt can summerize it for ya, he is the starwars movie expert.

K, Jeremy last night i watched episode four on dvd, The Differences I saw:
SURROUND SOUND the beautiful and glorious dolby digital 5.1, its actually quite good, especially on your system, though it was about ten that i started it and i was extremely tired, so i couldn't figure out that it was the analog option that wasn't allowing it to play the surround, so i only got from the death star to the end in true surround, it sounded kinda funny with it trying to do it but only the front three speakers, some people sounded really distant, though right in front of your face.
The option between WIDESCREEN and FULLSCREEN dvd box sets
Then there is the option to listen to it in FRENCH, and SPANISH
really no graphical differences as i can see, and there are no deleted scenes on the specials dvd as far as i could see. but they do have a sneak preview for episode three. But as for episode four i saw nothing of differing in story or graphics, so if there is any im sure Gene will letcha know. Right Gene,

whos this Gene guy everyone keeps talking about, i dunno, sounds like a cool guy.
well boyos I didnt notice too much different in its entirety, but they replaced some ( i dont know if all) of boba fetts voice clips with the actor that played jango fett in episode two, keeping it consistent with the prequels, but with that said wouldnt one wonder why the stormtroopers voices remained the same??? for some reason i dont know, they remain original, WHu hu, i think changing the troopers voices would have not turned out so well, One major difference is on Rotj (return of the jedi) they replaced the elderly actor of Anakin SKywalker with a version of Hayden Christensen (Hayden=anakin in episode 2) the scene in question is the three jedi ghost together (yoda, Obi, anakin) on endor which is the last scene in Rotj, minor note, i dont pay attention to such little details but i was informed that when vadr takes off his mask in rotj his eyes were changed to blue to match hayden... a bigger nerd than myself inlightened me on that detail.. well thats all i got,
i also spent and 1 or 2 reading episode 3 spoilers if there are any questions pretaining to it check out starwars.com and read them , or u can just post the questions on here,,
ok the post is over now
