my new car

Guess what everyone, I just got a new car!  It was kind of a weird experience, this guy came up to me in this gray Z28 Camaro with all these cool things done to it and handed me the title saying that he would trade me straight across for my 97 Geo Metro.  What could I say but yes?  We sold each other our cars for a dollar to avoid the gift tax and then he screamed away in his new Geo yelling that he would finally spend more on the car than gas...

i guess the new car is your avatar, pretty nice car, what is that on the hood?  ram air?  i have a friend with something like that in her car.  one question, how can you afford out of state tuition, insurance for that thing, and GAS?? :shock:

What's with all the questions?  Don't you believe me?  I mean come on, I have a picture of the thing as my avatar, why wouldn't I be telling the truth?

You got me, its not mine, but the rightful owner won't claim to own it on this site, not sure why though, he did mention something about being overwhelmed by so many girlish things.  ('girlie men' -arnold)  Maybe I need to try and get some more men to post on here.  As for the Z28, if he wants he can tell you what it has, for now all I will say is that he got a super deal!

Thanks for the info on the site, I will try not to do to much.  Gotta go, time for scripture reading.

you didn't mention who it was, all well, you are probably already gone.  and it is so hard to follow up on all these little messages, well hope whoever's it is will answer this thread.  btw, if you are reading this, my friend's car is a red 01 camaro, that is about all i know, it has the weird ram air thing, i guess that is what it is, (is yours just decoration? i think she said her's was) but it doesn't have those stripes.

hello, new to the forum, seems that i just missed everyone, because nobody shows on the online box, like the idea of a discussion, but more of a madness kinda guy myself, not sure i dig the get to know part though, jeremy whats the deal? i think you need to change that a little, atlease so i would answer it.  as for where i posted, z28s are so awesome, i know a guy that just got a cutout on his, keeps wanting to race my civic (ricer, i know), hafta admit though, if jeremy wasn't a guy (you are aren't you?) i might have just passed this darn thing up, but something said post atleast once and see where that goes so i like it so far, site is a little better organized that most i've seen, but like i said, make the sticky a little simpler, now to hunt around for a avatar, don't have a picture of my car, all well. :twisted:

hey Nazario, not sure what you mean about the sticky, I will try to simplify it a little, in the hopes that you and many others come back.  Seems cars are the more sensible topic to cover, get more responses with this post than any other  :?

As I restructure the organization of my life, I hope to be able to fit in a little time to maintain this site to a fuller degree, thanks for those that come and share a little of what they think.

BAH.. sorry guys, school SUCKS. I havn't had time to do anything lately. But yes that is my car, that is what i work for basically. It is a Z28 with an SS hood and functional ram air. Also has 373 gears, transmission cooler, ASP pulley, cut out on the exhaust, and a carbon fiber wisper lid. Nothing to major, just bolt on stuff. Well anyways goto go back to school. Hope to be posting more, sorry about the long absense

Also those thing on the top of the hood are 35th anniversity stripes, but no it is not a 35th anniversity car. They look cool tho don't you think? If you want to see some more pics of my car goto http://3rdgendecals.com/CustomerPages/DerekS.htm

It says that the pics are from Derek, that is the guy i bought the car from.
