I ran across a book many months ago in Deseret Book that caught my eye. I never bought it, since that was the time I was super, ultra, mega disgruntled about the state of affairs of books, and media in general. Now that I'm in a book buying frenzy (one series recommendation from Mike's list, and another series that I'm taking a chance with) I might end up reading it soon, but it will be a while due to the accumulation of books I've now acquired.
Anyway, I'm sure none of you have read it. It was released last year. It's called Cry of the Icemark. Its a debut novel by a new author, and as you can see from the reviews on that page the reactions are mixed and only have to deal with technical issues. But, the premise still seems rather interesting.
When asked about his opinion of the PS3's competing systems, 360 and Wii, Sony's SCE president, Ken Kutaragi, says: "We don't care."
Translation: "We're going to get 0wned this gen."
