Hey all, spent some time on the site itself today, haven't gotten to the smilies yet, but I have managed to snag some more languages, that should be a relief to all you foreigners roll I really did do SOME useful things, right... RIGHT??!  Ok, nevermind that.

Things have been going ok, I am about to get some discussion going for all you that have been waiting and waiting, you shouldn't have to wait to much longer.  Carmen tells me that she is going to talk about the tax reform that she wants to be focused on.  I do remember Bush mentioning that he wanted to simpify the tax system for the next generation.  He said that in his acceptance speech in the GOP Convention.  Need to get a transcript, but anyway, that is what she said to put here, I don't know why she couldn't herself though...

Today was really cool at church, seems that I was getting taught today, we talked all about the natural man and the gadianton robbers.  Maybe I ought to post a little article for all the people that know about the Russian School but don't know about the Gadianton Robbers.  I did find something interesting though, in Alma 14:10-11.  This is when Alma and Amulek have been taken and bound by the wicked people after prophesying of their evilness.  The wicked people were so caught up in this rage that they proceeded to burn all the religous books, chase all the men that believed Alma and Amulek out of the city with rocks, and burn their wives and children to death.  While they were doing so is where the verse starts.

And when Amulek saw the pains of the women and children who were consuming in the fire, he also was pained; and he said unto Alma: How can we witness this awful scene? Therefore let us stretch forth our hands, and exercise the power of God which is in us, and save them from the flames. But Alma said unto him: The Spirit constraineth me that I must not stretch forth my hand; for behold the Lord receiveth them up unto himself, in glory; and he doth suffer that they may do this thing, or that the people may do this thing unto them, according to the hardness of their hearts, that the judgements which he shall exercise upon them in his wrath may be just; and the blood of the innocent shall stand as a witness against them, yea, and cry mightily against them at the last day.

Just an interesting thought, especially when I really wish I could just fly over to Russia and dominate those cowards with some awesome technology like in the movies, but even then, we really might not be supposed to do that.  Who knows right now, because similar situations they are, but what about when we can prevent them?[/b]
