Hey it's almost time for school to start. So start your prayers  [-o< to have a good school year. I play the violin :-({|= in orchestra at school. I'm pretty good at it but I have a lot to learn. Does anyone have an instrument that they like to play or would like to play? I really like being in the orchestra. It is fun, when we are actually getting somewhere .  But sometimes people won't stop talking so we sometimes don't get to anything . I sometimes wish I didn't have to go to school. Not because I make bad grades, because I don't, it is because of the kind of language that I hear in my school all the time. I hear it in the halls, in classrooms, and outside on school grounds which is really sad. I think they just don't understand the point of getting good grades. What do you think?

i used to play the piano, kinda stopped when i started going to school though, never played the violin, whats it like?  don't worry about your life now, just wait till you start working for somebody, my job is the pits, people swear all the time, annoy the heck out of me because of my hair, but i did get fair grades, i just don't think i tried hard enough to get all a's, all well, hind sight is 20/20, missa, just try to be better than them, it works for me! :mrgreen:

I also play the violin and I know how to play the piano a little bit. I also work for a job and it is very hard to work their. Sometimes their topic of conversation just isn't the best. I love going to school but it isn't fun when no one you know or talk to is in your class. I defintly like working at home and cooking and stuff.  Anyways, all in all i enjoy my life very much.

hey, couple of violin players here. thats pretty cool!  I also play the violin and some piano.  piano i just kinda picked up on my own here and there and i've played violin since i was 3.   21 now so u do the math.    lol lots and lots of violin playing ( and practicing).  I played in the orchestra at school and also played in fiddle contests around the area.  too busy now, but I still pick it up and play every now and then   my brother and my mom also play, so i guess its a family thing :-({|=  /  :-({|=  :mrgreen:

Hmmm, funny how all the other ppl in this converstaion either hardly ever get on any more, or don't at all... *having fun bringing up old topics!*
I play Piano, flute, piccalo, basics on Tenor Sax, will hopefully get Trumpet soon, if not than a French Horn, kinda getting down Harmonica, and trying to convince my sister to teach me the volien(again!) during the summer....*whoo! sigh, lot of talking, actually writng!...* School is okay, but I am gonna get out as soon as I can, b/c it's a bad influnce on me... that is why I probably wil graduate next year... a year early...
