Finally, a photo album that I can actually use! Its called zenphoto and it is more than I hoped for. I?ve scored two new things in a week, all because I got off my butt and looked for them. This is the answer to all my gallery problems, no really this time it is. It uses all the new buzzwords like AJAX (which actually means Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) and all the pages load just like Gmail, in other words, it doesn?t require a complete page reload to grab new photos, it only grabs what it needs and hands it to you. The description on the site says it all:

Zenphoto is an answer to lots of calls for an online gallery solution that just makes sense. After years of bloated software that does everything and your dishes, zenphoto just shows your photos, simply. It?s got all the functionality and ?features? you need, and nothing you don?t. Where the old guys put in a bunch of modules and junk, we put a lot of thought. We hope you agree with our philosopy: simpler is better.

Look forward to me actually getting the gallery up and running in a more complete manner soon, but until then, go check out the actual thing here.

I want to apologize to all those that I have consistently promised to not do anything, then perform a complete reversal and screw everything up.  While I can?t promise that I won?t do it again, I am trying.
